Mental Health First Aid
Our engaging and interactive Adult MHFA course enables individuals to become a certified Adult Mental Health First Aider. We use experience working on film and TV productions to relate the ALGEE action plan to scenarios specific to the creative industries: on set, on a shoot, in a workshop and in the production office. We offer a reduced freelancer rate for individuals paying for themselves. Please contact us via email for a 10% discount code.
If you want a tailored course for your team we can provide in house training for groups of 6+ participants, working to your schedule, adapting the MHFA training to your production.
By the end of the course you and your colleagues will have:
A greater understanding of mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, suicide, self-harm, psychosis and eating disorders.
Built confidence to approach someone who is showing signs of illness.
Learnt how to listen effectively to someone in distress.

Method: 2 days or 4 1/2 days training sessions online via zoom or face to face for groups of 6 or more

In House Costs: Up to 6 people - £2160/ Up to 10 people - £3275/ Up to 16 people - £5110
For in house training a 50% charge occurs if there is a date change or cancellation after the point of booking. For individual bookings no refunds are possible but you can move to a different course date once at no additional charge. If you move your place more than once it is an additional £50 charge. The course requires to be completed within 6 months of booking.
