mindfulness with rehana

Mindfulness is not all about sitting crossed legged on the side of a mountain! Mindfulness is about cultivating attitudes that help us function better, in relation to all we experience, in our daily lives. Regular mindfulness meditation practice develops these skills. Creative industries demand the ability for individuals to be calm under immense pressure. Neuroscience research proves that mindfulness reduces activity in the amygdala helping us to be less reactive to stressors and to recover better from stress. Our mindfulness classes with TV Stage Manager Rehana Rafiq Lee can build tools for resilience as well as offer a reset pause and a moment of calm.

GOOD MOOD FOOD with Bec

To feel our best, we can begin by looking at how we're fuelling ourselves. The body reads ‘busy’ as stress (and who in TV isn't busy). Stress depletes vital nutrients, the lack of which can lead to many symptoms such as low energy, brain fog, poor mood, hormonal imbalance and burn-out. If we learn how to replenish these nutrients - we can buffer effects on the body and banish burn out. In this eye opening, practical (and fun) workshop ex-TV Exec Bec Milligan shares simple but effective ways to feel your best when you are burning the candle at both ends.

Other Workshops available: Eat for Deep Sleep, Energy Boost, and Immunity 101.
